De films zijn de eerste twee delen van een drieluik korte gestileerde films over migranten-vaders in Nederland. Ze verbaasden zich over hoe sociale betrokkenheid in verhalen vaak is gekoppeld aan ernst en fel realisme.\n\nIn hun korte documentaires willen ze de focus verleggen van wat er wordt verteld naar *hoe* het wordt verteld, omdat ze geloven dat het documentaire-genre daar de mogelijkheid heeft zich te onderscheiden van journalistiek. Altijd vol knipogen en humor, maar ook met stevige statements over de mode-industrie.
